Allowed domains

Genius Checkout checks live payment return URLs against the domains saved to your merchant account. This prevents an integration from silently sending buyers to an unexpected hostname.

Open Domains → Add Domain, paste the hostname or full store URL, and choose how it will be used.

Plugin or payment redirects

Choose this for WooCommerce, GiveWP, HighLevel, another third-party plugin, or API success_url, failure_url, and cancel_url values.

• Access is active as soon as an authorized merchant user saves the domain.
• No DNS record or ownership verification is required.
• Add every distinct hostname your integration uses. For example, shop.example.com and www.example.com are separate hostnames.
• The bare apex and www. version are treated as the same site for integration redirects, so adding either example.com or www.example.com covers the common WordPress canonical redirect pair.

Custom hosted checkout

Choose this only when a dedicated hostname such as pay.example.com will point to Genius Checkout and serve the hosted checkout page under your brand.

Custom hosting still requires the displayed DNS TXT ownership check and CNAME. Genius Checkout will not route traffic for the hostname or provision its TLS certificate until DNS verification succeeds. Payment redirects remain active while that verification is pending.

If you first add a domain for a plugin, eligible plans can later select Set up custom checkout on the same domain without interrupting redirects.
